The Texas Forest Country Community Foundation is located in the heavily forested central area of East Texas. The five National forests are the Angelina, Sabine, Davy Crockett, Sam Houston National Forests plus the Big Thicket National Preserve totaling 634,912 acres of federally owned land scattered throughout 12 counties the Texas Forest Country Community Foundation serves; Angelina, Houston, Jasper, Nacogdoches, Newton, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity and Tyler.
We share a commonality of interests, assets, needs…and philanthropy located in the beautiful Forest Country of East Texas.
The Texas Forest Country Community Foundation enriches our communities, supporting generosity by connecting people who care with causes that matter.
Founded in 2016, we are tax exempt public charity as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. We are a team of professionals who are committed to delivering the highest quality of intelligent philanthropic advisory services for individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofit partners throughout the twelve counties we serve.
